Calling all School for Good and Evil Fans
Soman Chainani’s bestselling School for Good and Evil series is coming to Netflix! Directed by Paul Feig with a script by David Magee and Laura Solon, the movie doesn’t yet have a release date for when it will hit the streaming service.
The announcement went live on several media sites including Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wrap, and Variety. And more details are expected to be released over the next few months!
About the Books:
With her glass slippers and devotion to good deeds, Sophie knows she’ll earn top marks at the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil.
The two girls soon find their fortunes reversed—Sophie’s dumped in the School for Evil to take Uglification, Death Curses, and Henchmen Training, while Agatha finds herself in the School for Good, thrust among handsome princes and fair maidens for classes in Princess Etiquette and Animal Communication.
But what if the mistake is actually the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are?
Witches and princesses reside at the School for Girls, where they’ve been inspired to live a life without princes, while Tedros and the boys are camping in Evil’s old towers.
A war is brewing between the schools, but can Agatha and Sophie restore the peace? Can Sophie stay good with Tedros on the hunt? And whose heart does Agatha’s belong to—her best friend or her prince?
Former best friends Sophie and Agatha thought their ending was sealed when they went their separate ways, but their storybook is about to be rewritten—and this time theirs isn’t the only one. With the girls apart, Evil has taken over and the forces of Good are in deathly peril.
Will Agatha and Sophie be able to work together to save them? Will they find their way to being friends again? And will their new ending be the last Ever After they’ve been searching for?
The students at the School for Good and Evil thought they had found their Ever After when they vanquished the malevolent School Master. Little do they know that their world is about to grow bigger—and so are their stories.
In order to graduate, everyone must complete a fourth-year “Quest for Glory.” Not only are these quests dangerous and unpredictable, but the stakes are high: success brings eternal adoration, and failure means obscurity forever.
For their quests, Agatha and Tedros are trying to return Camelot to its former splendor as queen and king. For her quest, Dean Sophie seeks to mold Evil in her own image. But soon they all feel themselves growing more isolated and alone. . . .
When their classmates’ quests plunge into chaos, however, someone must lead the charge to save them. If Good and Evil can’t find a way to work together, neither side will survive.
A KING IN CHAINS . . .
A QUEEN ON THE RUN . . .
A TRAITOR ON THE THRONE . . .
A false king has seized Camelot’s throne, sentencing Tedros, the true king, to death. While Tedros’ queen, Agatha, narrowly escapes the same fate, Sophie is caught in King Rhian’s trap. With her wedding to Rhian fast approaching, she’s forced to play a dangerous game, her friends’ lives hanging in the balance. All the while, King Rhian’s dark plans for Camelot are taking shape.
As the past comes back to haunt the present, secrets long buried will be unearthed and enemies reawakened. But the greatest enemy is time. Now the students of the School for Good and Evil must find a way to restore Tedros to the throne before their stories—and the future of the Endless Woods—are rewritten . . . forever.
Agatha and Tedros have unearthed the lost ring of Camelot from Arthur’s tomb—the last beacon of hope for the Endless Woods. But will they be in time to foil the evil plans of a Snake and his mysterious, magical pen, and save Sophie from his clutches?
But King Arthur has left one last coronation test for his rightful successor from beyond the grave—the Tournament of Kings. Excalibur will crown the tournament winner the One True King . . . and take the loser’s head. With the future of the Endless Woods hanging in the balance, Tedros is in for the biggest battle of his life—and luckily, he isn’t alone in the fight. Agatha, Sophie, and their friends from The School for Good and Evil must use everything they’ve learned to help Tedros defeat his enemy and take his place on Camelot’s throne before the Snake brings their stories—and the fate of the Endless Woods—to a terrible end.
